Joanna Lovinger is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Before she got her Psychology degree, she spent over a decade working with writers - and as a writer - in the TV industry. Now, as a therapist, she collaborates with artists, writers, musicians, and actors to rewrite the painful stories they tell themselves about their lives. She’s proud to work with members of the adoption constellation. And she’s a Certified First Responder Counselor, working with members of the first responders’ community, including police, firefighters, ICU staff, and EMTs.
Her goal is to help clients find relief from their symptoms, uncover unconscious material, and change old patterns. She always listens for what’s not being said and strives to help her clients find wholeness and integration
She earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles and a specialization in Spiritual and Depth Psychology. She studied Infant, Early Childhood, and Parent Psychotherapy at the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies.

Individual Therapy, Pregnancy and Postpartum, Motherhood (matrescence), Parent Coaching, Neurodiversity
-
(SHE/HER/HERS), LMFT #103077
After earning a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller School of Psychology in 2014, Ashley trained in DIR Floortime play therapy with neurodiverse children, as well as psychodynamic, depth therapy.
She’s currently training in perinatal mental health (PMH-C pending) and particularly focused on the experience of matrescence (the process of becoming a mother), the difficulty of holding ambivalence within motherhood, and how this journey changes throughout a lifetime.
Ashley offers individual therapy for expecting, new, and seasoned moms, creating a warm space to rediscover buried parts and integrate them into the new self arising. Additionally, Ashley offers parent coaching in hopes of helping parents reflect on their child's emotional, physical, and sensory needs and discover ways to adjust parenting to fit their unique profile.
While Ashley utilizes theories (psychodynamic, family systems, and developmental psychology), her approach is relational, warm, a bit playful and, most importantly, unique to the person sitting in front of her, to the relationship being created.

(SHE/HER/HERS), LMFT #121820, OR #T3185
Clients often come to Danielle when they are struggling with conflict in their romantic partnerships, or to heal from the impact of hurtful parental relationships. The majority of her practice focuses on improving self esteem, and gaining deeper personal awareness, so that clients can show up more fully, and with more authenticity, in their lives and relationships.
Therapy with her may include addressing obstacles such as unresolved trauma and destructive patterns, as well as working to find a new way forward – such as setting boundaries, challenging long held negative beliefs, identifying personal strengths, or learning new relational skills.
Danielle came to the field of therapy after her own healing journey as a client. She knows firsthand how life-changing it can be to sit with an attuned, caring professional.
Danielle strives to create a space where ALL of you can be held without judgement; your fears, pain, hopes and dreams... and support you in taking the kind of risks that can lead to meaningful change.
